
SWEENY BUILDS LEAD AS FIELD CONDENSES HEADING TO WORLD TOUR ROUNDS
TRAILING by a single point entering the round, HMO Customer Racing’s Bailey Sweeny will take a 30-point series lead into the back-to-back final rounds of this year’s Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.
The big swing in title momentum came in a weekend that delivered Sweeny his first Astron Tech Pole Award and wins in two of the three races at Sandown last weekend.
SWEENY COMPLETES SENSATIONAL SUNDAY SWEEP AT SANDOWN
HMO Customer Racing’s Bailey Sweeny has placed himself in a very strong position to clinch his first Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series title after another dominant drive in Race Three at Sandown.
Sweeny was able to make his way by the fast-starting Peugeot of Aaron Cameron in the middle of the race and was able to pull away to claim his fifth win of the 2023 season, as the rest of the field engaged in an old-school touring car tussle at the historic Melbourne venue.

BAILEY SNARES POLE IN EPIC SANDOWN SHOOTOUT
One point off the series lead, Bailey Sweeney had taken his first pole for Round 5 of Supercheap Auto TCR Australia at Sandown International Raceway in the Shannons SpeedSeries.

SANDOWN ON-TRACK SCHEDULE LOCKED IN
A fan-friendly schedule has been confirmed for next month’s Shannons SpeedSeries round at Sandown International Raceway.
Six national categories will combine for more than 20 hours of on track action across three days at the popular Victorian circuit, including the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, National Trans Am Series, Kumho V8 Touring Car Series, Mobil 1 Australian Production Car Series and Monochrome GT4 Australia Series, MARC Cars Australia and the Australian Formula Open Series.
NEW YEAR MEANS NEW BAILEY SWEENY
HMO Customer Racing’s Bailey Sweeny is sitting comfortably on top of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series after his winning his second round of the season at last weekend’s Hi-Tec Oils Race Winton.
The 19-year-old had a perfect start to the season by taking wins two wins out of three at the opening round of the season at AWC Race Tasmania.
Consistent top five finishes at Phillip Island then ensured he would hold the series lead heading into the third round at the Winton Motor Raceway last weekend.

WONDERFUL WINTON - BAILEY ANNIHILATES OPPOSTION IN RACE 3 VICTORY
HMO Customer Racing’s Bailey Sweeny has taken the second-biggest win in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series history with a crushing 20 second win, during Race 3 of Round 3 at Hi-Tec Oils Race Winton in Victoria.
By taking both the final race and the round win, Sweeny now leads the championhip by 36 points overall after the half way point of the season.

POLE POSITION AT WINTON FOR SERIES LEADER SWEENY
HMO Customer Racing Hyundai driver, and curent championship leader, Bailey Sweeny will start from the front row and in pole position for Race 3 after securing a second place in Race 1 and a fifth position in the reverse grid Race 2, during Round 3 of the 2023 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia series at Winton Motor Raceway in Benalla, Victoria.
The third and final race for the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series begins at 4:10pm.

HMO Customer Racing Hyundai driver and curent championship leader Bailey Sweeny will start from the front row after qualifying for Race 1 of Round 3 of the 2023 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia series at Winton Motor Raceway in Benalla, Victoria.
Sweeny clocked the Victorian hig country cirecuit in atime of to narrowly miss pole by zero point zero 3 of a second.

HMO Customer Racing Hyundai driver Bailey Sweeny retains top spot in the 2023 championship standings heading into Round 3, after a solid and consistent Round 2 of the 2023 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia series at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Sweeny finished all 3 races for the weekend in 4th and 5th places, and after the 2 wins in Round 1 in Tasmania, he retains the lead of the standings with 252 points over Jordan Cox on 230.

Sweeny qualified strongly in 4th but lost places at the start, only to fight hard and move back up into 4th at the finish on one of the fastest tracks in Australia.
